Types of Anxiety I Treat

Generalized Anxiety Disorder

Generalized Anxiety Disorder is marked by excessive worry and tension about everyday situations, especially when there's no clear reasons.

Panic Disorder

Panic disorder involves sudden, often unexpected feelings of intense dread, panic, fear or terror.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

PTSD is characterized by severe anxiety, flashbacks, and avoidance behaviors following a traumatic event. It is often accompanied by nightmares, insomnia, and freezing or "fight or flight" behaviors.

Social Anxiety Disorder

Social anxiety disorder occurs is characterized by feelings of intense self-consciousness, fear and embarrassment in social situations.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

OCD is defined by intrusive, anxious thoughts or urges, often about harm (obsessions), that lead to repetitive behaviors or mental rituals (compulsions) aimed at reducing the anxiety or anticipated harm.

Phobias

Phobias are intense, irrational fears of particular objects or situations (i.e. heights, animals, public speaking), that are out of proportion to the actual risk.
